ReStructure Mix Update (12/16/23): “Hasta La Vista” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – T-Series

T-Series is a German techno project from Peter Ries and Wolfgang Filz – who also gave us “Who Killed JFK” by Mysteria in 1982. “Hasta La Vista” is a take on the 1991 Arnold Schwarzenegger film “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” and his memorable line. The hardcore edge is close to a rave energy and much of the power from this track is a rolling sequencer which outlines the dub versions from the 12” I new-beat style of using the heavy bass beats and giving way to challenges from keyboard to keyboard as the breaks. This one is fun and inventive as much of the techno sound of the late 80’s and early 90’s created.

I have taken all 3 versions from the 12” single “Hasta La Vista” and worked on the dub as the intro to this ReStructure Mix. Some of the pieces where the keyboards create the mystery and energy are used in a new way to solidify this execution.
