Cristiana is an Italian disco project from producers Tano Lanza and Mario Percali – featured on the Ram Production label in 1987. One of the last true Italian disco productions which center on the heavy percussion edge. The intended vocal approach is light and frail as it expresses a sensual desire. The foundation of this track is the keyboard riffs that represent a sweetness and somewhat innocence for this request. With the play on words the two choices are the same: sex or sex? The heavy bongo and percussion tracks are a dub-like feel from the original and make this piece a nice mix in and mix out weapon.
I have taken the 12” vocal and dub and re-vamped the energy for this new ReStructure Mix. There is a new heavy beat outlining the sensual feel of this song and a few new spots where the music brings us back to the energy of the song.
