Ann Consuelo (Ann Consuelo Del Pilar) is a singer from Guayaquil, Ecuador and is one of the voices of the early 90’s house movement. Her club hit, “Do It For Love” was released in 1992 and produced by Douglas Carr and Nick Nice. A big underground hit as her prior single “See The Day”. This one has a serious impact with its house thumping rhythm and the wonderful segments where Ann brings the lyrics into a playful mode. This one was dance floor success for me from day on to the many months of programming it following. One of the big house records that justify the means.

I have taken the 12” versions of “Do It For Love” and worked segments from each one – using the “Euro Club” as the determining outline for this ReStructure Mix. There is a longer and lengthier vocal throughout the new arrangement and some new breaks.
