ReStructure Mix Update (1/6/24): ”Uncle Bob’s Burly House” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Uncle Bob

Uncle Bob is Philip Kelsey – his project from 1992 is one of the deep house productions which are progressive and trance-like. The four cut 12” single gives an individual display of the riffs for “Uncle Bob’s Burly House” in a club manner. This short excursion into a realm where voices edge on a sense of hypnotic energy and some mean dub-like breaks. The essence of this groove is the bass works which seem to fluctuate throughout each mix. This one was secret weapon for me when the dance floor was there and ready to go deeper.

I have taken the four cuts from “Uncle Bob’s Burly House” 12” and edited and slimmed down this ReStructure Mix. I used the Latin flare that explodes in the mix as the main emphasis for this tribute to deep house.
