Messiah is a techno-rave project from Ali Ghani and Mark Davies. Their take on Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder’s disco classic was released in 1992 and is focused on the acid-house/techno/rave feel of dance floors. This powerful and electrifying version sets the track in a whole new arena along with the vocals performed by long-time disco artist, Precious Wilson (Eruption). The rolling sequencers again display the elegant and genius of Moroder and how this piece of dance music changed the music world. There are builds throughout this arrangement that bring about a “mosh-pit” energy since the intent from the original is the excitement.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of Messiah’s “I Feel Love” and reapplied a new edge to this ReStructure Mix. The pieces of the original sequencer tracks are chopped and edited to reform a new energy.
