Tene’ Williams is r&b/gospel vocalist who recorded a 1993 project featuring a dance floor hit titled, “Give Him A Love He Can Feel” - produced by Steve “Silk” Hurley (Cee Cee Peniston, Malaika). Beats and vocals are the front of this piece and the trigger-beats are fierce. This one slams into a love song where Tene’ takes us in and out of an experience that is to the point. This one was more of a club favorite for those who were not only afraid to move but could do it well. A wonderful stripped down production focusing on a groove which takes a hold on the body and a vocal to make it all complete.
I have taken the 12” vocal, instrumental and dub of “Give Him A Love He Can Feel” and played out the merciful beats once again for this ReStructure Mix. A new segment of drum beats give a new intro and also a fade to make the journey complete.
This ReStructure Mix is lovingly dedicated to my incredible friend, Felix Prince - who left us in the early millennium leaving behind a town that experienced “house music” the way it should have been played. Thank you for always sharing tracks as this one and making it so exciting to share with others.
