ReStructure Mix Update (7/14/19) “La Esmeralda Suite” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Alec R. Costandinos & the Syncophonic Orchestra

Alec R. Costandinos added another layer onto the fantasy elements of disco music in the mid and late 70’s. Bringing to dance floors disco-fied concepts of “Romeo and Juliet” and in this project “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. The fully orchestrated productions were also a part of his band Love and Kisses with the help of Don Ray. I was a new genre titled Euro-disco. The strings, horns, and stylized touched that Costandinos created were a force which was exciting and gave disco music purpose another important movement. “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” is a production which displays the creativity and innovation that the disco music producers were completely at the reins of.

I have taken the second movement of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and used the beautiful sounds to ReStructure the “La Esmeralda” character and purpose. It is another tribute to Euro-disco and the man himself, Alec R. Costandinos.
