ReStructure Mix Update (8/6/19) “Elevator” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Joanne Spain

Joanne Spain is a disco artist who released her single “Elevator” in 1975 – produced by Clayton Ivey and Terry Woodford. This one is a “boogie” dance track which takes us to the sound of Silver Convention ala strings. It has some wonderful riffs and a sexy vocal which is what disco music was made of in the mid-70’s. The theme is obviously pointed at creating a new dance – most likely called “the elevator”, but it is sheer fun here.

I have taken the 12” version of “Elevator” and reworked that rolling bass and sheer strings into a new ReStructure Mix. It has some new percussion elements that kick up the energy and also gives that sweet disco sound move hip motion.
