REISSUE: “Night Fever” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Carol Douglas

REISSUE:  “Night Fever” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Carol Douglas

Carol Douglas is one of disco music’s darling diva. Her big dance floor hit “Doctor’s Orders” from 1974 immediately became the outline for a new disco sound. From there on Carol became a disco queen in her own right where she transformed strobe lights and pin spots into mysterious and loving places. In 1978 Carol’s album titled “Burnin’” featured a cover of the Bee Gees big hit “Night Fever” – produced by John Davis. This gave the song a whole new perspective with Carol’s sweet chords guiding us into the night’s energy. A nice and distinctive take on the big club track.

I have taken the album version of “Night Fever” and rewired the message in this ReStructure Mix. The new formula only lends to the mystique of disco music and the control disc jockey would work for.
