Carol Williams
is one of the golden voices of disco music. Her appeal has always been one of
sweetness and sophistication as dance music was headed into a new orchestral
sound. “Love Is You” is from her 1976 album “’Lectric Lady” – produced and
conducted by Vincent Montana, Jr. and is a classic among the world of disco.
The lasting effect of the drums, bass guitars, percussion and Carol’s fabulous
performance is obvious for reasons while the foot is tapping and the mind is
free – the true effect of great disco music.
I have taken the
12” version of “Love Is You” and reworked a ReStructure Mix to pay tribute to
the fantastic production from Montana and the vocal beauty of Ms. Williams. I
have added a new arrangement to play and some new breaks for another new experience.
