REISSUE: "African Queens" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Ritchie Family

REISSUE: "African Queens" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Ritchie Family The Ritchie Family's third album "African Queens" from 1977 is one of the early disco-fantasies and wonderful Euro-disco feel project. Produced by the late, but forever fabulous Jacques Morali and features Ralph McDonald and Horace Ott on string and horn arrangements - the sound of Jacques' magic disco era. "African Queens" is a side long medley and the disco romance of Nefertiti, Cleopatra and The Queen of Sheba - a dousing adventure and quite fun to feel the beat to. I have ReStructured the medley and pulled out parts which accentuate the disco flavor of the late-70s. Swirling strings and pulsating rhythms. A new Intro and exit are featured to give the song a new feel.
