REISSUE: “Lay Love On You” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Luisa Fernandez

REISSUE: “Lay Love On You” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Luisa Fernandez Luisa Fernandez is a disco artist from Spain and released her first album, “Disco Darling” in 1978. The project was produced by David Parker and featured a hardcore disco selection of dance tracks at the height of the disco era. “Lay Love On You” is the number that is most memorable from this collection and echoes with heavy percussion and Luisa’s dreamy vocal. This one rings out with the power of a disco anthem with its hooks upfront and the vocal echoing like a fantasy. It was more of an underground hit for those deejays who dug deep into the bins and worked the breaks as if they were dessert. I have taken the album version of “Lay Love On You” and created a ReStructure Mix which plays out to the bongo riffs and more of peak hour remix. Luisa still remains as breathy and disco immersed with more breaks and drop outs.
