ReStructure Mix Update (9/21/20) “Life Is A Bitch” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Green Olives

Green Olives is David Sion, Fulvio Zafret and Sergio Portaluri – an Italian Euro-house band who released 3 singles in late 80’s and bridged the house period into the 90’s. This ensemble created a wonderful portrait of the nightlife in each of their tracks. Their smooth rolling house grooves are accented with the classic Chicago piano riffs and along with their falsetto vocals their style is very slick. “Life Is A Bitch” is their 1989 single and takes a look at the flip side of the world in a trial of obstacles and then the wake of appreciation when out on the town. This one screams the energy of the Italian singles of the late 80’s with the touch of dance music and the uplifting mood it resonates

I have taken the 12” vocal and dub beat tracks of “Life’s A Bitch” and reworked a ReStructure Mix as a new arrangement for this house classic. The percussion and key riffs are pieced into new elements to provide some new energy.
