ReStructure Mix Update (9/29/20) “Shake What You Got” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Pulse

Pulse is a disco band from 1978 with members James Aaron Johnson and Jim Johnson. Their single “Shake What You Got” is a nice blend of soul and pumping disco with a great hook that makes the mood irresistible. It was one of the singles that fit perfect for that independent disco label sound. A breakout of many new dance companies backing the disco theme. This one is one of favorites of its style and makes the time period come right back into the feet.

I have taken the 12” version of “Shake What You Got” and reworked a new ReStructure Mix for a trip back to 1978. More percussion is beefing up those blaring horn sections and a surprise break from a disco classic is blended in as treat.
