REISSUE: "Astro Disco" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Apollo
Apollo is Benny Medina, Cliff Liles, Kerry Gordy, Larry Robinson and Lenny Greene - the project was produced by Ray Singleton and assisted by Gene Page and Greg Phillinganes (Penny Ford's husband).
This was Motown Records claim to disco fame - the single "Astro Disco" is a hallmark recording close to the energy and momentum of The Trammps "Disco Inferno" - it is one heck of a track!
I have ReStructured the song and have given it a whole new funky-back beat mix with a new arrangement and sound to bring back this awesome disco number.
