REISSUE: "Stay With Me" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Charo

REISSUE: "Stay With Me" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Charo
Charo is the "cuchi cuchi" girl of the stage - during the 70's she entertained many audiences with her gags and sex appeal. It was during the late 70's when she paired up with the biggest disco symphony from New York, The Salsoul Orchestra and several disco hits joined the disco boom. "Stay With Me" is from her LP "Ole Ole" which is more of a novelty collection of songs with Charo's fun and carrying on throughout a staple of disco arrangements. The original track was remixed by Rick Gianatos and released as a 12" single. This ReStructure Mix takes the 12" mix and chops and loops some of the most frenetic conga and bongo work in disco. It is a supposed love song with a few verses left to question along with Charo's wonderful misinterpreted vocal. It is a fun song.
