REISSUE: "You Keep Me Hanging On" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Soiree Soiree is a studio project from producer, Billy Jackson with a cast of disco stars including Alfonzo Thornton, Jocelyn L. Brown, Sharon Redd, Ula Hedwig, Yvonne Lewis and Luther Vandross. This album consists of disco version of Motown, 50s and classic soul remakes. Full disco orchestrations make this project sound like gold. I have taken the single and Diana Ross and The Supremes classic, "You Keep Me Hanging On" and have given it a ReStructure Mix to bring the top production a new sound. I have added some of the elements from the Motown classic into this playful mix. In editing this disco piece I have reconnected with this marvelous album and wonder will we ever hear this kind of flare in future music?
