ReStructure Mix Update (10/13/20) “Frogs In Spain” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Fake

Fake is Erik Stromblad, Janne Fagerberg, Stefan Bogstedt, Stefan Sverin, Tony Wilhelmsson and Ulrica Örn – a Swedish disco group who released their album “New Art” in 1984. The category here is Italo-disco which plays out in a whimsical manner on the single “Frogs In Spain”. A troubled relationship apparently is distracted by unusual and bothersome issues – like frogs in Spain. The song has a deep driving synth-bass that takes over and makes this one infectious. It was one of the odd releases of the time yet fit perfectly in the Italo-disco adventure theme.

I have taken the 12” version of “Frogs In Spain” and reworked in an underground manner using new beats and a wired new arrangement. It plays out in the same fashion without the oddness of the lyrics and some of the chants.
