REISSUE: “Get Ready” by X-Ray Connection – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera X-Ray Connection is two high energy producers from The Netherlands who created a wall of electronic sound in the mid-80s. Their track “Get Ready” is from their LP “X-Ray Connection”. Past productions included Gazuzu, Digital Emotion, Dr. Groove and Tempo Rubato. Their sound is very recognizable by the many “space” sound effects pulsing with the pumping bass lines. The 1987 “Star Wars” spoof from Mel Brooks is “Spaceballs” and stars Mel Brooks, John Candy, Bill Pullman and Rick Moranis. Lots of great gags and laughs are placed along with X-Ray Connection’s “Get Ready” – outlining the victory in outer space played with lots of laughs.
