REISSUE: “We Can Make It” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Evans & Fisher Danny Fisher and Tommy Evans brought the third generation of Italo-disco to dance floors in the mid-80s. Their electronic productions were as lush and swirling as the Euro-disco of the late 70’s and helped to preserve the disco edge. “:We Can Make It” is their 1988 release which is a breath of disco air, This number sweeps and sways like a fabulous Fred Astaire dance number on a disco high. It contains their signature heavy percussion foundation with the beautiful electronic strings and sweet vocal reminding us of the early days of European disco music. A beautiful piece that deserves to be honored as most of their productions, I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “We Can Make It” and reworked a ReStructure Mix to give another disco trance like moment alive. It adds a sample from the Larry Page Orchestra to add to those incredible drum-fills. This ReStructure Mix is dedicated to Denni Demaldè – thank you for the request and being so kind.
