E.G. Daily is an 80’s artist whose recording career began in 1985 and a big club hit produced by Harold Faltermeyer titled “Love In The Shadows” – which became an instant dance floor anthem. Her singe “Mind Over Matter” was released in 1987 and was a Stock Aitken and Waterman powerhouse dance track. It was the sound that made the 80’s worth dancing to and along with E.G.’s driving vocal this one is always remembered. One of the big peak songs for my club and always a welcomed piece for those tea dances.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Mind Over Matter” and have given it a new ReStructure Mix for a tribute to a great combination of artists and producers. The main ingredients are still intact where I have only added a new dropout break and a few new percussion pieces.
