Pet Shop Boys are the magic of the 80’s. Their contribution to the 80’s is priceless when you look closely at the music and their main focus which has always been to deliver a dance track celebrating that entire disco created in the 70’s. Their clever wits and phrases helped to make their new sound as alternative as possible while feeding beats and rhythm into the dance floors. “What Have I Done To Deserve This” is a fine example of a feeling of walking into the middle of a conversation and still understanding its presence. It is from their 1987 album titled “Actually” and shines along with a guest vocal from Dusty Springfield – making this more confusing and even more of a gem.
I have taken the 12” and dub version of “What Have I Done To Deserve This” and descrambled their message in this ReStructure Mix. It is displayed as a montage pf the song itself and reworked to give itself a whole new identity.
