ReStructure Mix Update (6/6/21) “Don’t Let Me Down Again” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – M.B.O. 99
M.B.O. 99 is an Italodance project from Mario Boncaldo and Angelo Valsiglio. The theme of the band is an obvious continuum of their 1982 project Klein and M.B.O. and the sharp electronic riffs and girlish vocal by Naimy Hackett. “Don’t Let Me Down Again” is a slick moving high energy piece with the hand claps which make the foundation of the song rock and the down beat synthesizers to move the floor. This one will capture the attention of anyone who is a lover of Italo-disco. It has a wonderful arrangement and a few riffs that may hold on to your senses.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Don’t Let Me Down Again” and refocused on using the pieces that make this magic for a ReStructure Mix. Some pieces of the song are used in a new way and the vocal is once again yearning for understanding.
