ReStructure Mix Update (6/15/21) “Runaway” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – One-Two-Three

ReStructure Mix Update (6/15/21) “Runaway” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – One-Two-Three

One-Two-Three is a dance project from producer Bobby Orlando in 1983 – and features Bobby Orlando, Debby Gaynor and Tony Caso on vocals. The electronic dance project opened with the single “Runaway” which is another tale of a man distraught over the grattude for assisting a lover through hard times – very much a continuum of Human League’s “Don’t You Want Me”. The eerie feel of this track gives you more of the ominous heartbreak and disposal of ones necessity in a shattered relationship. This one is another one of Orlando’s brain-child projects of the time and gives us another outline of what his talent can create.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Runaway” and reworked a new ReStructure Mix feeding off of the moody sound of the original. I have placed a few pieces of soundtrack from Ennio Morricone into the mix for a sound that plays out just as mysteriously as the song itself.
