REISSUE: “Knock Me Out”” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Gary’s Gang Gary’s Gang is a disco group lead by Joe Tucci (Eric Matthew) and Joseph Tucci and is one of the disco bands of the moment when it comes to their arrival. Their huge hit “Keep On Dancing” from 1978 is one of the statements made on the dance floor which helped to create all of the excitement that disco music was. “Knock Me Out” is their single from 1982 and continues their sound in a hard hitting manner. One of the nice dance numbers with their mellow but rhythmic edge. I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental versions of “Knock Me Out” and reworked a ReStructure Mix with a taste of their classic track “Keep On Dancing” and also a new re-arrangement. It blends the beats with the infectious disco sound that Gary’s Gang is.
