REISSUE: “Pump Up The Jam” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Technotronic

REISSUE: “Pump Up The Jam” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Technotronic Technotronic is a Belgium group produced by Jo Bogaert and the big club hit “Pump Up The Jam” became the sensation of 1989. Following house music of the mid-and late 80’s came an experimental period of beats and eclectic keyboards in many variations which brought the rave and techno edge to life. Technotronic merged the obscure sound of rap and acid house into a sound which brought the elements to a maximum. “Pump Up The Jam” is the starter kit for techno music and worked in the underground energy into a whole new edge of music for the 90’s. I have taken the original 12” version of “Pump Up The Jam” and reworked a new dance pattern using a few samples from a classic Earth, Wind & Fire piece and some disco pieces. This new “pump” works with parts of the song and recreate then with a new groove and experience.
