REISSUE: "I Ain't Never" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Issac Hayes
Isaac Hayes is the artist who helped to formulate the Memphis-soul-sound in the late 60s and early 70s. He is best known in disco circles with his big 1971 hit, "Shaft" - which made the wah-wah guitar a staple of disco music.
His venture into the late 70s with disco club music included his big hit "Don't Let Go" from 1979. In 1980 his LP "And Once Again" brought the bass and beat together with his single "I Ain't Never". It is presented here in a ReStructure Mix.
A few surprises in this play on Isaac's production including a guest appearance from his "Chef" character from "South Park" and some hard driving loops to make the groove even more infectious!
