REISSUE: “Non Stop” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Patrick Hernandez

Patrick Hernandez became a household name is discotheques following his big 1979 disco anthem “Born To Be Alive”. Patrick performed his hot track in his unique and gentlemanly deliverance for audiences around the world bringing attention to his artistic approach to disco music. “Non Stop” is a single released in 1982 – produced by Jean Vanloo and parodies life as a pinball machine in a rhythmic sense. The impact is a bit less than his “home is where the heart is” message in “Born To Be Alive” but for the 70’s pinball craze it is a disco philosophy for dancing only.

I have taken the 12” version of “Non Stop” and created a new ReStructure Mix using many of the riffs I found attractive. It pumps longer in the areas where the groove can work the song and gives way to a fade with new drums and effects.
