REISSUE: “Maybe (We Should Call It A Day)” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Hazell Dean Hazell Dean is best known for her high energy anthems which always took center stage thanks to her magnifying and emotional delivery. Her tracks always captured the heart of the matter along with the transformation of a ballad like song with a dance beat. “Maybe (We Should Call It A Day)” is one of Hazell’s most touching dance numbers since it deals with the end of a troubled romance and echoes the pain and heartache with a stirring disco arrangement thanks to the production team of Stock Aitken and Waterman. This track was always one of my favorites for many reasons and one of the main attractions is Hazell’s ability to make pain sound so beautiful. I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental and worked a new ReStructure Mix for a tribute to this mini-anthem. More of the percussion is used as the new punch and a few new verses added to give this new version more of the same emotion and energy.
