ReStructure Mix Update (7/18/20) “Love Is Magic” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Midnight Gang

Midnight Gang is an Italo-disco ensemble produced by Jacques Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavasi both responsible for disco classics by Macho, Peter Jacques Band, Rudy, Change, B.B. & Q. Band and The Ritchie Family. The formula which this pair created in the mid and late 70’s paved a way for a disco music to achieve a peak and succeed. “Love Is Magic” is from the Midnight Gang project which features players from various sessions compiled by Petrus and Malavasi and once again focuses on the celebratory feel of dance music where lyrics are placed for sound rather than meaning. The concept is another disco orchestration from Petrus’ Good Music Production group and includes his signature style and dedication.

I have taken the album version of “Love Is Magic” and realigned the song into a new ReStructure Mix for homage to both Petrus and Malavasi. A new intro features a Peter Jacques Band classic as a teaser and eventually extends this uplifting song into a new remix.
