Nylon Moon is an Italian ambient/techno ensemble featuring Daniele Maffei and Michele Generale from the late 90’s. Their project “Heartage” features their single “Angels Of Love” which became a tattoo for the club sound of the period maturing. The electronic feel of this band takes a signal into an arena of flowing music which follows the Euro-disco movement at the end of 70’s disco era. A progressive move in dance music into the millennium has given in a new package with heavy layers of house music and disco style into the recipe. “Angels Of Love” is an example of a return to underground dance music as it occurred in the mid and large 70’s. This may not be a band playing out several individuals' ideas and musical skills as much as it appeared in the late 70’s: a concept aimed at a theme and mood for the dance floor.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Angels Of Love” and blended the hardcore techno edges along with the ambient for this ReStructure Mix adventure. The outline follows the haunting chorus which brings us into a place of fantasy and mystic trance.
