K.C. & The Sunshine Band is the founders of the Miami disco-funk sound. Harry Wayne Casey (K.C.) and producer, Richard Finch are the driving forces behind the
Bands success from the 1974 release throughout current day – as the band continues to release projects to present day. “I’m Your Boogie Man” is a single from their 1976 project titled “Part 3”. This funky take on the dance generation of the time and transforming a love song with a soulful and rhythmic edge. This is probably one of the classics from K.C. and The Sunshine Band which brings back the magic all together.
I have taken the album version of “I’m Your Boogie Man” and also an independent instrumental version to recreate a deeper groove for this ReStructure Mix. The more dub-feel is a side of this number that was embedded in my head when I began to break the track into pieces.
