REISSUE: "Pump It Up" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Fever One of the big surprises in 1979 was the release of Fever - produced by Dale Reed along with Marty Blechman (Megatone Records) and John Hedges. This production had pieces of everything happening on the dance floors and more. Patrick Cowley supplied the classic synthesizers along with Tip Wirrick on guitars - this ensemble of the "know how of disco music" was evident and had the immediate support of DJs like, Bobby Vitteritti, Steve Fabus, Michael Garrett and many of the big dudes from B.A.D.D.A. (Bay Area Disco DJ Association). With the release of the segued 2 sided power tracks this is now a disco gem still "pumping" along! My ReStructure Mix of "Pump It Up" extends those fabulous vocals by the one time ensemble of Clydene Jackson, Julian Tillman Waters and Maxine Willard Waters.
