REISSUE: “Work Me” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Fever

REISSUE: “Work Me” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Fever Fever is a band with Dale Reed, Dennis Wadlington, and Joseph "Joe" Bomback. Their big LP “Fever” from 1979 is one of the peaks of the disco era with its energy and segued medleys of nightlife on wax. This was one of the huge DJ plays of the time and both sides were equally played. Production is a full on electronic production with a few insets of the teams horn and percussion talents. Their first single from 1978 – a disco cover of “Standing In The Shadows of Love” is another mark in their music history as it was equally as successful and innovative. “Work Me” is the second track from the medley and always brought the appropriate energy to follow the first hit “Beat Of The Night”. I have taken the album version of “Work Me” and created a new mix singularly spotlighting it on its own. A new percussion riff gives the song a new feel and some new breaks and extended vocals are added.
