REISSUE: "You Make It Hard To Love You" by Abbe - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

REISSUE: "You Make It Hard To Love You" by Abbe - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Abbe is Abbe Lane - a singer and actress whom was married to band leader, Xavier Cugat in the 1950's. Abbe was described as "the swingingest sexpot in show business" during her career as a nightclub singer. At the end of the disco boom, Abbe released a disco project called "Rainbows" (which features her disco cover of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow") produced by Norman B. Ratner and assisted with guitars, bass and synthesizers by Bob McGilpin ("Superstar"). "You Make It Hard To Love You" was the first single from this album and scored quite well on dance floors - it is more of a hardcore classic. There are echoes of the finest pieces of what made disco dance music sharp on definitive. I have taken Joan Crawford's big 1945 film, "Mildred Pierce" and syncopated to to this Disco Video Mix - as appropriate for a few characters in the film, who are difficult to love. It also stars Jack Carson, and Zachary Scott. Directed by Michael Curtiz. Featuring scenes from "Mildred Pierce" - RENT THE DVD! Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Produced by Ken Emmons
