ReStructure Mix Update (11/1/20) “You Set My Heart On Fire” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Evans and Fisher
Evans and Fisher are Danny Fisher and Tommy Evans - an Italo-disco production team who revamped the Tina Charles 1975 disco classic “You Set My Heart On Fire” (originally produced by Biddu) into a flowing electronic dance piece. This cover features vocals from Italian singer, Daphne. The arrangement is similar to the original and gives Evans and Fisher one of the most beautiful 80’s dance tracks. The heavy percussion is a nice foundation for the magic that ensues.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of Evans and Fishers cover of “You Set My Heart On Fire” and reworked a new ReStructure Mix for a new edge. It takes some of the riffs into a new arena where the theme makes it point all over again.
