REISSUE: "Try It Out" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Gino Soccio

REISSUE: "Try It Out" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Gino Soccio Gino Soccio became the innovator of disco music in 1979 with the release of his first solo LP "Outline" which features "Dancer", "Dance To Dance" and "The Visitors". It was not long after Moroder gave grace to the synthesizer that Soccio made the same on the keyboard and his unique style of disco music. It was the beginning of a new form of art for dance music. His third LP "Closer" was a fusion of jazz, disco and soul - "Try It Out" leads the way with a simple funky bass line that jumps throughout horns and trumpets. This is a magic track. I have taken some chances with this ReStructure and played it in many variations - as Soccio has done from the beginning. This one is a fusion of pounding tribal drums in various speeds along with some clips from the original song. Dedicated to Peter Godbold, Loulou (from Netherlands) and Joey Luciano - thanks for keeping the real heart and soul of dance music alive!
