Paul Hardcastle is a British producer and musician who helped to shape the 80’s dance music scene with his use of street beats, keyboards and imaginative riffs. His big dance floor track “Rain Forest” from 1984 is perhaps one of the most changing of styles and sounds in its time. The blending of hard street beats and smooth melodies was a new sensation – as Kraftwerk also exhibited in “Tour De France” in 1983. “Rain Forest” presents a landscape of rhythm and relaxing music box edge. The 80’s dance scene was a creative spot for artists as Paul Hardcastle and his creative mind. He continues to work in the music industry where his energy in still living.

I have taken the 12’ single of “Rain Forest” and reweaved a ReStructure Mix breaking the arrangement into pieces of beat box grooves and pieces of the melody. It gives more of the break in a dub-like manner as most of the 80’s influenced the 90’s with his outline.
