ReStructure Mix Update (12/19/20) “Magic Nights” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Zara Thustra

Zara Thustra is Alfons Weindorf, Berthold Weindorf, Clemens Weindorf, Eberhard Wilhelm, Hermann Weindorf, Maximilian Spenger and Walter Schwarz. A German progressive rock ensemble who gave us a classic club track titled “Magic Nights” in 1986. The song was produced by Pete Waterman of Stock, Aitken and Waterman who brought us all of the Hit Factory singles from the U.K. This piece is one of the anthems that brought to life a whole new generation of music for dance palaces. It is beautiful, lyrical and packed with the emotion that many of these genres possess. One of my favorite records of this end and most likely a change for the rock group as they lay out a new dance number that evokes the heart and soul of the dance floor.

I have taken the 12” version of “Magic Nights” and revisited the song with a new ReStructure Mix. The new version is laid out more plainly and simple with some new breaks and effects along the way. Some percussion is added to give it more energy.
